For fans of soft rock and folk , 2027 is shaping up as a year of last chances. It is also a busy touring year for bigger rock acts, with Def Leppard and the Goo Goo Dolls planning a North American run. Out of retirement Shore Fire describes the tour as Bishop coming out of retirement to celebrate five decades of his landmark debut and his songwriting career. His official site frames the shows as a final chance for fans to see him on the road, with the tour mixing performance and storytelling. The venues are mostly intimate theatres and performing arts centres, from the Kent Stage in Ohio to the Garde Arts Center in Connecticut, rather than arenas. The two European shows, at Vicar Street in Dublin and Cadogan Hall in London, close the run in October 2027, about seven months after the first night in Phoenix. Shore Fire says more US shows are still to be announced. What's next All tickets went on sale on October 9, 2026, at 10am Pacific time, through links on Bishop's official website.
