Shakira 's Madrid residency is selling like a stadium tour. Pollstar reports that the first nine shows sold 452,097 tickets, an average of 50,233 a night, and grossed $61.3 million, or about $6.8 million per show. The figures put the Colombian star at No. 1 on Pollstar's LIVE75 chart of the most active tours as the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour heads into its final stretch. A purpose-built home in Madrid The 13-show residency, produced by Live Nation, runs from September 18 to October 12. Pollstar says the shows are being held at Shakira Stadium, a temporary venue with more than 50,000 capacity in the Iberdrola Music complex in southern Spain 's capital. Spanish outlet Nueva Radio describes a festival-style day built around the concert. It says the site, which it calls Macondo Park, was inspired by Gabriel García Márquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude and opens for 12 hours a day, with themed areas for Latin food, art and culture before a 25-song set. It reports an extra date on October 12, Spain's national day, was added because of high demand. Pollstar lists The Weeknd second with 47,216 for his After Hours til Dawn tour, Karol G third with 45,387 for Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour, and Chris Brown and Usher fourth with 41,260 for The R&B Tour. She also ranks No. 7 on the Global Concert Pulse, with a 16-show average of $4.6 million that combines the nine Madrid dates with seven arena shows in Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey in July. She is No. 5 on Pollstar's Artist Power Index. A $534 million tour The tour launched in February last year in support of her album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran , released in March 2024 on Sony Music Latin. Pollstar says it has now earned $534.4 million from 118 reported concerts, with attendance topping four million. Tour highlights Mexico City, Estadio GNP Seguros: 13 shows, 724,306 tickets, $84.1 million El Salvador, Estadio Jorge "El Mágico" González: five shows, 129,389 tickets Lima and Santiago: four nights each The scale puts her among the year's biggest touring acts, a field we looked at in Pollstar's Q3 2026 touring report . The Weeknd's European run, covered in our $345 million tour story , is the closest comparison on this week's chart. Inside the site Nueva Radio says the grounds cover 220,000 square metres and include eight themed zones dedicated to music, food, art and Latin American literature, plus VIP areas called Espacio Garden and Espacio Terrace with close views of the stage. The outlet describes the experience as closer to a music festival than a traditional concert, a growing trend in recent years. Shakira herself called it "something out of this world that had never been seen before in Spain", according to the outlet. Pollstar's Artist Power Index, where she sits fifth overall, also ranks her tenth for streaming and ninth for social media, a sign that the residency's demand is backed by strong online engagement. Fans of Latin pop have rarely seen a single-city run of this size in Europe. Pollstar notes that the Madrid run is part of the tour's final stretch, which wraps up in November. What's next After Madrid, the tour heads to Bishkek Arena in Kyrgyzstan, a 51,000-seat venue, on October 18. It ends on November 28 at the Pyramids of Giza in Cairo. Final Madrid figures should follow once the last four shows are reported to Pollstar. Sources: Pollstar | Nueva Radio
