Noah Kahan has the highest new entry on this week's UK Official Singles Chart. "Draw You Out" debuts at No. 16 on the chart published on October 9, 2026. The song is the first taste of the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, according to Official Charts. A soundtrack debut Chart Watch UK's James Masterton describes "Draw You Out" as "a movie soundtrack" hit that hands Kahan the week's top new entry. Official Charts says the American singer-songwriter's new single leads the soundtrack campaign. The two sources count his chart history differently. Official Charts calls "Draw You Out" Kahan's 11th Top 40 single, while Masterton calls it his 14th chart hit, a figure that includes songs that charted outside the Top 40. "Willing and Able" keeps climbing Kahan has a second song in the Top 20. Official Charts reports that "Willing and Able," lifted from his No. 1 album The Great Divide, reaches a new peak of No. 20. Masterton notes how long that song has taken to get there. After more than five months on the chart, he writes, "Willing And Able" has "oozed" its way to a new peak, an example of "a slow smouldering hit" that sidesteps the chart's accelerated chart ratio rule long enough to establish itself. "This didn't used to happen this frequently," he adds. Key facts Artist: Noah Kahan, United States New entry: "Draw You Out," No. 16 (highest new entry of the week) Soundtrack: The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (first single) Also in the Top 20: "Willing and Able," new peak of No. 20 Parent album of "Willing and Able": The Great Divide, a UK No. 1 (Official Charts) Chart published: October 9, 2026 The chart around him Kahan's debut came in a week dominated by returning hits. At No. 1, Taylor Swift's "Patient Zero" spends a second week on top, while Jamie Miller's "Babydoll" (No. 3) and Ashe's "Stop The Wedding!" (No. 4) both reach the Top 5 for the first time. Swift's run is also covered in our Hot 100 report on "Patient Zero" . Drake adds three Top 40 entries from the expanded edition of HABIBTI, led by "Solar Eclipse" featuring Don Toliver at No. 22. Masterton is unimpressed, calling them "fairly middling hits." For more on that release, see our HABIBTI deluxe story . New names in the Top 40 Further down, Official Charts reports first Top 40 hits for German DJ Kolter with "Hey Everybody (Back In The Dance)" at No. 29, GENER8ION and Yung Lean with "STORM II" at No. 37, and UK rapper Morrisson with "COS OF YOU" at No. 40. Masterton says "STORM II" leapt 73 places to 37 after the pair recreated its video, with a mass of choreographed uniformed schoolboys, live at the VMAs. He predicts "even bigger and better chart placings" for it. Albums On the albums side, Masterton reports that Blossoms edged out The Beatles' reissued Rubber Soul to take No. 1 with Songs From The Wedding Cake, the band's fifth No. 1 album and third in a row. Why "Draw You Out" stands out Soundtrack songs rarely top a week's new entries in a chart this crowded. "Draw You Out" beat a field that included three new Drake songs from the HABIBTI expansion, all of which entered lower, at Nos. 22, 27 and 36, according to Official Charts. It also gives Kahan two songs in the Top 20 at once, a point both sources highlight. Masterton describes the pairing as Kahan being able to "boast a second Top 20 hit single" alongside the new release. Neither source gives a release date for the full soundtrack album or names other artists on it, so for now "Draw You Out" is the only confirmed song. What's next "Draw You Out" is only the first song from the soundtrack, so more releases may follow as the film's campaign builds. Next week's chart will show whether Kahan's debut can climb, with "Willing and Able" still rising beside it. Follow the latest on our charts and soundtrack pages.
