Article

Greta Van Fleet are back, and they are going big. The Michigan rock band released their fifth studio album, Palace for the People , on October 9 through Republic Records . They have also announced Into The Beginning, a 59-date tour of North America, the UK and Europe in 2027. It is a strong return for a band that worried fans earlier this year. NME notes that in May the four-piece shared a career-spanning montage ending with "Thanks for the wild ride. Love, Josh, Jake, Sam and Daniel." At that point, they had not played live or released new music since 2024, and fans wondered whether they had split. The new album Palace for the People was co-produced by the band and Mike Elizondo, whose credits include Turnstile, Eminem, Fiona Apple and Dr. Dre, Nashville.com reports. It follows the 2023 album that was produced by Dave Cobb, NME says. Live Nation's announcement says the band "continue to explore themes of humanity, connection, resilience, and transcendence". The band recently performed "Saw You Stand" on national television, Nashville.com adds.
