Synth-pop duo Erasure have announced their 20th studio album, Radio!! Radio!! , out on March 12, 2027 through Mute on vinyl, CD and digital. Andy Bell and Vince Clarke will support it with a UK and European arena tour in April and May 2027. It is the duo's first new studio album in six years. Wings of Love leads the way The first single, "Wings of Love", came out on September 28, 2026 and premiered on BBC Radio 2's Sara Cox Breakfast Show that morning. Mute calls it "a classic slice of perfect, glassy synthpop", with Bell singing about love, loneliness and gratitude for the people he has valued in his life. Side-Line reports that the single came with a video built around the robot figure on the album cover, which the band's team has nicknamed "Dolly". The tracklist The album has ten songs written by Clarke and Bell: Radio!! Radio!! tracklist Baby On The Radio Forever Lucky Boy Wings Of Love Listen To The Beauty Where Our Love Hides Star Clouds Where Are All The People? Holy! Formats include a sunburst-coloured vinyl LP in a gatefold pop-up sleeve, a picture disc, a CD in an eco-pack and a cassette, according to Side-Line. An album shaped by grief and friendship Mute describes Radio!! Radio!! as a uniquely personal record, made after a devastating period of grief for the band. SHOUT! Online notes that Clarke's wife, Tracy Hurley Martin, died from cancer in January 2024. "When you're a songwriting partnership for so long, it's very deep, kind of like a soul connection," Bell says. "You trust that person with your life... That becomes a sacred space." He adds: "Vince has helped me through some terrible times, and so I always wanted to be there for him. I think that's what this album is about." Musically, Clarke was drawn to piano and acoustic guitar this time, inspired by composers such as Erik Satie. "I found techniques – ways to use piano that sounded really organic, and same with guitar," he says. The tour, without Vince on stage The Radio!! Radio!! Tour opens at Cardiff's Utilita Arena on April 25. It travels around the UK, plays London's O2 Arena, then moves on to Germany, Denmark and Sweden. Ladytron are special guests on the twelve UK and Ireland dates, Side-Line reports. There is one big change. Clarke will be musical director but will not perform on stage. "I recently moved to California from New York, and I travelled from here to London. The travelling took a toll – it really messed me up," he explains. "I told Andy, and he made me musical director, and I thought, 'how fantastic is that?'" Bell is fully behind it. "Vince is one of the great loves of my life and everything we do as Erasure we decide together," he says. General sale opened on October 2 at 10am local time. Side-Line says further dates outside the UK and Europe are expected to be announced later. All the dates so far Side-Line's list shows twelve UK and Ireland shows, all with Ladytron: Cardiff, Bournemouth, Liverpool, Birmingham, Manchester, Dublin, Nottingham, Hull, Leeds, Glasgow, Brighton and London's The O2.
